Leading LED display specialist, Absen, completed a striking installation in the Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is an international airport located in Domodedovo, Moscow Oblast, Russia, one of the largest airports in Russia, and the eighth-busiest airport in Europe. The two large LED screens of over 1200 ㎡ are displayed on the periphery of the airport, providing passengers with the most dazzling visual enjoyment.

Prior to this, Absen built  1149㎡ display screens for Domodedovo Airport, which includes large-format LED video walls in check-in areas and duty free shops, as well as LED boards everywhere from departure and arrival gates to walkways, mainly used for delivering flight information, way finding graphics, and advertisements. Outstanding performance gave Absen the opportunity to cooperate with Domodedovo Airport again, to build the cutting-edge outdoor LED displays.

At the parking of the airport, the two amazing ultra-high-definition LED displays have become an integral part of the whole building. The DooH installation for Domodedovo Airport measures 24mx25m and 60mx11m from Absen C15-31, deliver reliable digital advertising display solutions that combine innovations and the art of architecture for passengers.

The brightness of the screen can reach 10000nit, offers outstanding images of vivid and accurate colors and excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. In compliance with EMC CLASS B standard by Russia, C15-31 is a product of robust reliability.

With a depth of less than 10CM and weighing at only 12KG per square meter, C15-31 series is 60%-80% lighter than traditional outdoor LED display products, allowing for simple and quick installation and operation.

The slim and lightweight design of the front & rear maintenance mesh LED product is coupled with a high transparency of up to 67%, promising strong wind resistance, excellent heat dissipation performance and capability of offering see-through LED solution with no compromise on superior visual effect.

Domodedovo Airport chose Absen’s C15-31 series to make it easier for outdoor advertising companies and system integrator to provide customers with excellent results.

The installation itself began in 2019 and was completed by 2020, just in time to miss the massive disruption caused by Covid-19. Absen, through professional technology and production conditions, can still guarantee the normal operation of the project during this period. Although passenger traffic at the airport fluctuates sharply during the epidemic, passengers have had enough time to marvel at its new appearance.
