OSA International selects Absen for cutting-edge visuals to meet timeless vocals in a tour that captivates audiences
As the lights dim and the music begins, Andrea Bocelli steps onto the stage. His voice, full of emotion and shaped by years of experience, fills the air. A world-renowned Italian tenor, celebrated for his powerful voice and emotive performances that bridge classical and popular music, has performed at major venues around the world, collaborated with artists across genres and is considered one of the most beloved classical crossover artists of all time. In 2025, he returned to the stage for a highly anticipated tour, delighting fans with his timeless voice and unforgettable performances.
OSA International, Inc. is playing a vital role in Andrea Bocelli’s tour, providing a comprehensive package of lighting, rigging, audio and video technology to elevate the concert experience for nationwide audiences. Known for delivering world-class entertainment technology and production services, OSA International supports Bocelli’s performances with seamless integration audiovisual technology that match his music’s elegance and emotion. The tour, which has already captivated audiences during its spring run, is now expanding to include additional dates, with performances scheduled in cities such as Knoxville, Tampa, Austin, Denver and more.
As the tour extends into new markets, OSA International’s expert crew and cutting-edge equipment ensure each venue is transformed into a world-class space tailored to Bocelli’s unique vision. For the tour’s video displays, OSA International selected AbsenLive’s Saturn Series P2.6 LED (SA2.6) panels. “It’s a great product from a great company, and we have a strong partnership with Absen,” said Bobby Allen, executive vice president of entertainment for OSA International. “Like most of our shows, we rely heavily on close-up camera shots of the artist using. It’s only fair for the audience to see what everyone else sees.”
The SA2.6 was chosen for its image quality and flexibility, making it well-suited for live concert touring and corporate events. Its reliable performance and adaptability support OSA International’s goal of maintaining a high production standard across multiple tour stops.
“We like the new Absen Saturn Series because it offers excellent color performance,” explained Mark McIntosh, LED engineer for Andrea Bocelli. “For this project, we’re using Brompton processing with the Saturn panels, which gives us a high level of control over color. It allows us to fine-tune and match what the cameras capture with what the audience sees, ensuring consistency throughout the system.”
McIntosh added, “We’ve enjoyed having the 2.6mm on tour. It’s the highest-resolution product we’ve ever toured with. It completely transforms the visual experience for the audience. The content on the walls looks more like a high-quality photograph than something displayed on an LED wall.”
The AbsenLive Saturn (SA) Series is built to meet the fast-paced demands of live events, delivering exceptional visual performance and effortless setup. With brightness up to 1500 nits, 16-bit grayscale and a smooth 7680Hz refresh rate, it ensures stunning, vibrant visuals that captivate audiences in any lighting condition. In addition to performance quality, the Saturn Series offers key logistical benefits.
“One of the key advantages of the Saturn product on this particular tour is that it’s stackable,” said Rob Seager, video crew chief for OSA International. “Being able to stack the panels in the truck gives us significantly more space, allowing us to transport a much larger quantity of gear. With seven different LED walls on this tour, not including spares, the ability to stack the carts is a major advantage for us.”
The SA Series is crafted from lightweight yet durable materials, with each 500x1000mm panel weighing 20.94 lbs, allowing for quick transport, setup and on-the-fly adjustments. The SA Series features a fast-locking system and magnetic module design enabling seamless connections and precise screen alignment, minimizing downtime during event build-outs.
Designed for maximum versatility, the SA Series supports flat and curved (-2.5° to +2.5) configurations, making it a perfect fit for concerts, festivals, corporate events, and immersive brand activations. Its modular design allows panels of different sizes to be combined for creative, custom display setups. The SA Series supports multiple mounting options, including hanging up to 32.8 feet, stacking up to 16.4 feet or using 1.6-foot and 3.3-foot hanging bars and stacking systems, making it adaptable to any event environment.
The integration of AbsenLive’s SA Series has elevated the visual storytelling of each performance, allowing Bocelli’s voice to be accompanied by stunning visuals. From enhanced image quality to efficient transport and setup, the SA Series has proven to be the ideal choice for OSA International. Together, Bocelli’s extraordinary talent and OSA International’s production excellence create an unforgettable concert experience.
