A Russian national museum named “Russia – My History” with more than 1,000 units of multimedia equipment was opened on September 11, 2020 in Pyatigorsk, the capital of the North Caucasus Federal District in Russia. Featuring the latest digital technologies including three Absen LED display installations, provided by LC-Integration, the new museum has become one of the largest and the most high-tech museum complexes in the country.

Various digital technologies were used to best present the history of the nation, including touch tables, LED screens, projectors, touch kiosks, video infographics, animation, three-dimensional modeling and digital reconstructions and more. In total, over 1,000 units of multimedia equipment have been deployed in the museum. Absen’s LED displays were installed inside and out of the complex as an integral part, with one video wall hanging over the entrance of the museum, one in an auditorium and another floor screen in the hall.

Positioned over the entrance of the complex is an Absen XD Plus screen of P6mm, measuring 6.40M×3.84M, mainly used for playing images and videos introducing the museum and welcoming visitors. It can also be used as a presentation tool that helps communication between speakers and audiences when there are gathering events taking place in front of the museum.
